J L Scott Marine Education Center and Aquarium |

Our aquarium in Biloxi, Miss., was directly in the path of Katrina’s fury and the results were catastrophic. Our facility, exhibits, and most of our contents are a total loss; however, our spirit and determination to continue implementing high quality marine education programs remain steadfast.
The interim Marine Education Center and Aquarium is located at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory in Ocean Springs in a four-bedroom home that was formerly the Lab’s Director Residence. We anticipate the arrival of two modular classrooms to facilitate the continuation of our formal and informal educational efforts.
